Soho House's White City House, located within the former BBC Television Centre in West London, was designed to thoughtfully blend the building's mid-century heritage with contemporary aesthetics. The interiors pay homage to the 1960s, featuring fluted timber walls inspired by the original BBC reception area, terrazzo flooring, and period-appropriate furniture. Fabrics by Tibor, a designer who once created patterns for the BBC, further enhance the retro-chic ambience.

The members' lounge on the ninth floor exemplifies this design approach, with blue banquettes and red leather chairs with brass legs emphasiSing the retro vibe. We designed terrazzo flooring, inset with brass, to run throughout the floor, and a test-card rug pays homage to the building's broadcasting heritage.

Overall, we designed White City House to thoughtfully integrate elements of the building's history with modern touches, creating a space that is both nostalgic and contemporary.
